About the position

Background

Overall role: Supporting the implementation and coordination of workshops on various topics related to clean energy. Clean Energy and Engagement officer Intern is responsible for liaising with partners for the engagement & outreach events, especially during Clean Energy Week, logistics support, and communications under the guidance of the Engagement Program Manager.

Report: Engagement Program Manager
Contract: Five months (August 2023 until December 2023)

Duties and Qualifications

● Support team in the design, preparation delivery of engagement and outreach activities, and maintain the communication with the relevant stakeholders as necessary
● Arrange the logistics for programs and events with the support of the Finance and Admin coordinator
● Create basic communication materials and support delivery for the program accordingly to the EnergyLab’s communication strategy and plan
● Support any administration tasks required for the smooth functioning of the EnergyLab office
● Conduct yourself in alignment with EnergyLab values and policies
● Participate in and support other EnergyLab Programs as necessary

Eligibility, Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:


● University Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, education, economics, business, law, IR management
● Organized, detail-oriented, and able to complete tasks against project timeline, seeking help
where required
● Excellent written and oral skills in English and Khmer.
● Demonstrated skill in using online tools and Microsoft suite
● Able to work on weekdays/weekends to deliver the workshops
● Experience with social media, communications, and design is desirable
● Cambodian nationals

● Enthusiasm to support clean energy businesses in Cambodia, passionate about clean energy and the progress of clean energy in Cambodia
