GREENCAP is focusing on promoting the green education and multidisciplinary green researches by establishing a strong university/enterprise cooperation (within incorporation of ministries, NGOs and civil society). Moreover to develop successful professional careers in the green business sector, besides good academic results, university graduates must need good skills, such as communication skills, team-working abilities, leadership skills, creativity, problem-solving skills, negotiation and decision-making skills, independent learning skills, and flexibility. Although green business is a worldwide concept, still its development should be country specific. In order to better adjust the needs of the partners with respect to green growth/business opportunity in Cambodia, a report will be conducted in order to highlight the green skills required for the next 3 to 5 years on Cambodia.
Similarly, education is a key issue to move to green growth. Although awareness is now well developed about climate change impacts, etc., still knowledge of students on green jobs opportunities may be insufficient.
These reports will be conducted by a team made from Cambodia and EU teachers, researchers or experts, together with EU student (internships) and Cambodian students.
