Announcement position:

Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Specialist

  • Location: Phnom Penh
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Salary: N/A
  • Term: Rolling 12 months contract with a probation period of three (3) months. The contract will be extendable based on satisfactory performance preceding the contract assessment

Responsibilities

  • Create entrepreneurship ecosystem strategy and roadmap and support annual budget planning. Design a program, and conduct partner orientation in collaboration with relevant teams. You are expected to have some of the following skills. It is not compulsory but highly desirable.
  • To design and develop marketing strategies and activities to attract more SMEs, startups, venture capitalists, mentors, talents, incubators/accelerators, and other potential ecosystem builders
  • Evaluate and negotiate the program proposal in relation to the entrepreneurship ecosystem and develop funding recommendation
  • Create a supportive platform enabling entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and overcome challenges
  • Initiate networking programs to enable start-ups and Small & Medium Enterprise (SMEs) to access the market information
  • Working knowledge regarding support to Startups or SMEs, large enterprises, venture capitalists, angel investors, and inter-governmental entities
  • Increase KE public exposure through collaboration, co-branding, and partnership
  • for KE to become the platform that connects SMEs to potential partners and among SMEs themselves
  • Organize and coordinate all programs, including agenda proposals, an invitation to all stakeholders, and event management
  • Conduct entrepreneurship ecosystem analysis or mapping and initiate strategic local and international partnership
  • Monitor the progress of funding program, and ensure that all fund requirements are met
  • Lead the preparation of program implementation report and consolidated success stories of the program

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Proven work experience or other related fields of the position applying
  • High attention to detail, basic analytical & critical thinking skills, and basic research skills
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Teamwork and a good attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Problem-solving attitude & critical thinking
  • Understanding entrepreneurship, business, and investment concept is a plus

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

  • Location: Phnom Penh
  • Full-time
  • Salary: N/A
  • Term: Rolling 12 months contract with a probation period of three (3) months. The contract will be extendable based on satisfactory performance preceding the contract assessment.

Responsibility

  • Coordinate the ongoing development of an M&E system and tools to enable all projects to collect, aggregate, and support data analysis to meet all relevant reporting requirements and facilitate and inform project management.
  • Assist in designing and implementing qualitative and quantitative data collection, such as needs assessments. Liaise with the line manager for new survey methodologies if not experienced. Work with staff to develop and standardize survey tools and other data collection forms for monitoring programs.
  • Support Core Team staff on a choice of indicators and development of monitoring plans
  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Program Developer

  • Location: Phnom Penh
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Salary: N/A
  • Term: Rolling 12 months contract with a probation period of three (3) months. The contract will be extendable based on satisfactory performance preceding the contract assessment

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and tools required by the supervisor
  • Knowledge of API
  • Understand Agile methodology
  • Provide occasionally IT support to the team during individual and team events (online meetings)
  • End-user support and troubleshooting

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other equal degrees.
  • Proven work experience or other related fields of the position applying
  • Candidates must have worked with some technologies and be hands-on with minimal supervision.
  • Learn new technology rapidly
  • Backend Stack: NodeJS, Javascript, JAVA
  • Mobile Development: Android, iOS
  • Frontend Stack: Angular, Bootstrap CSS, HTML
  • Data Storage: JSON, XML, MySQL, NoSQL
  • Written and spoken in English and Khmer
  • Good collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Candidates will be receiving additional training where needed
  • Honest, hard-working, self-motivation and commitment

Interns

  • Location: Phnom Penh
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Salary: N/A

Requirement

  • High commitment
  • Available to work full-time
  • Taking the initiative & willing to learn new things
  • Experience with Microsoft Office or Google platforms
