Livelihood Program Officer will Implement, monitor and coordinate livelihood projects and food availability and accessibility components of the Nutrition projects in Program Unit by working with NGO and/or government partners, and community based organization (CBOs including farmer groups) to ensure project quality, technical soundness and alignment with Plan’s program strategies, approach and policies and procedures.

As a staff member of a child-centered and humanitarian development organization, the Livelihood Program Officer will commit to complying with Plan International’s standards and policies related to Safeguarding Children and Young People policy, Gender Transformative and Inclusion. All Plan International Cambodia staff are expected to uphold the organization’s Values and Behaviors in every aspect of their work.

Announcement Positions

  • Location: Stung Treng or Ratanak Kiri PU
  • Office based approximately 20 % and field based approximately 80 % dependent on business requirements
  • This position has a high level of contact with children

Responsabilities

The Livelihood Program Officer manages, implements, monitors and coordinates the assigned livelihood and agriculture components of nutrition program with an annual budget is between USD 120,000.00 – USD 1,000,000.00.

  • The post-holder has no people management responsibilities.
  • The post-holder monitors and tracks the budget of the assigned program to ensure compliance with the SAP finance and program module.
  • The post-holder manages, monitors and coordinates the project implementation in collaboration with other Program staff, Program Manager/specialist to ensure that all projects activities, outputs, and outcomes are delivered and achieved within the specified timeframe

Requirements

At least 3 years’ experience in implementing and monitoring large grant funded small-scale sustainable agriculture projects.

  • Good experience in developing and monitoring project work plans and budgets.
  • Experience in managing and supporting partners for project implementations.
  • Working with local CSOs (e.g. farmer groups), and other key relevant stakeholders in local agriculture value chains (including farm input suppliers, and local food vendors) to implement complex agriculture projects and/or nutrition projects.
  • Good experience in facilitating workshop, meeting, and report writing.
