Sales Manager – East Cambodia with HUSK

Husk Ventures (Cambodia) Co. Ltd (HUSK) is a social enterprise with a mission to improve smallholders’ livelihoods by transforming rice husk into biochar products to boost soil fertility, increase farmers revenues and combat climate change.

Announcement Position

  • Report to: HUSK Country Manager (Cambodia)
  • Office location: Phnom Penh, Factory Phnom Penh Business Center, Working Space 1
  • Dedication: Full time
  • Salary range: 800 USD – 1000 USD + Quarterly Performance Bonus

Responsibilities

  1. Sales:
  • Coordinating the relationship between our national distributor and current/ new provincial distributors in East Cambodia (that means in Cambodia excluded provinces of Battambang, Siem Reap, Pursat, Banteay Mean Chey, Otdar Mean Chey.
  • Follow up with distributors to push for sales orders.
  • Support the Implementation of demo farms to showcase HUSK benefits.
  • Support the design of promotions for distributors with marketing and discounts.
  1. Logistics and deliveries
  • Contract and coordinate transport suppliers for deliveries locally and across provinces (in case of need, as main of logistics would be managed by national distributor).
  • Coordinate with clients to manage deliveries
  1. Customer services
  • Support distributors with solutions for technical queries.
  • Customer service to farmers with questions about products and applications
  1. Marketing and communication
  • Support Facebook posting (e.g. translate texts to Khmer)
  • Distribute marketing material in depots and agricultural cooperatives.
  • Carry out training sessions of HUSK products for technicians and farmers.
  • Organize matchmaking business events between farmers and distributors.
  • Communication for farmers to get feedback from our products.
  1. Reporting: Follow the company guidelines on data collection and regular reporting, using online internal tools.

Requirements

Education and Experience Management experience. At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing sales.
● Engineering, agronomist, or business degree or other relevant education.
● Portfolio management: 3 to 5 years experience in managing provincial or/and national distribution networks.
● Basic English spoken & written.
● Fluent Khmer
Key skills and knowledge● IT skills: Good knowledge of MS Office package (Excel, Word) and Google suite (Gmail, Google Calendar and Drive).
● Negotiation skills: To find a good balance between HUSK interest and relationship building.
● Marketing and Communication: Social person with personal connections in the Agri Input sector.
