Private Sector Development Advisor with GIZ-Cambodia

GIZ is a federally owned enterprise and is supporting the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable developments. Our Multi-sectoral Food and Nutrition Security Project (MUSEFO), is seeking for a candidate for the position of Private Sector Development Advisor to be based in GIZ MUSEFO Office, Phnom Penh.With the commission and initiative from the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the “One World–No Hunger” Initiative aims to make a significant contribution to the reduction of poverty and hunger. In doing so, particular emphasis is placed on food and nutrition security for women of childbearing age and young children. The Project ”Multi-sectoral Food and Nutrition Security Project in Cambodia (MUSEFO)” is part of the Global Programme “Food and Nutrition Security, Enhanced Resilience” under the “One World – No Hunger” Special Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.The overall objective of MUSEFO is: The food and nutrition situation of people vulnerable to food insecurity living in Kampong Thom and Kampot, in particular of women of reproductive age (15-49) and young children (6-23 months), has improved.The private sector expert will support the Private Sector and Agriculture unite and work closely with the “Private Sector and Nutrition-sensitive Agriculture Advisor” as well as with RACHA the implementing partner of MUSEFO.
